| Jackie4a, I came across the Leger Single traveller trips a couple of years ago, and maybe like you, felt after booking, a bit apprehensive about what to expect. You don't need to worry, certainly from my experiences, I've been on three trips Magic of Austria (Now called Austrian Splendours), Sorrento and the Neapolitan Rivieria and Prague, Vienna and Budapest and each of these holidays have been great, well organised, the coach crews tremendous and my fellow passengers great company, ...remember everyone on these trips is in a similar situation to yourself, alone and just want a good holiday with out any pressure. My advice is get out there and don't look back, take that first step, don't worry and get out there and enjoy yourself. By the way they must be good, I go on the Austrian Splendours trip again in three weeks time, I really loved Austria, and this time I'm going with a lovely lady I meet on my last trip but since we booked we've become really good friends, so much so we've booked on a non singles tour in September going back to Sorrento and the Neapolitan Riviera. Just to reasure you they are are not sold by Leger as dating holidays and I never went with that in mind, there's no pressure put on anyone, but I must admit I've been very lucky. If you don't believe me, look at the TV ad on the Leger home page, I'm the last one to speak, and they really are my own words. I wouldn't have done that unless I meant it! Have a great holiday Steve C

I will be taking my first 'Single Traveller' tour in October, so thanks Steve that advice was good for me too!
Feeling a little apprehensive, but I am sure I will enjoy it for all that.

| I can also back up what Steve C said. I went on my 1st Leger Singles holiday in May 2007, went on the Spectacular Spain trip, which was excellent, no pressures from any one to join in everything if you don't want to. I was so impressed with Leger I went on the non-singles trip to Rome, Pompeii and Capri (there was also at 3 other single travelers on this trip also), which was a disaster because the coach broke down on the outbound trip, but I think that got everyone talking as we where stuck on the French Motor way/Garage for nearly 8 hours (it was Good Friday - Easter 2008). And I think we had the worst weather we could have had, torrential rain all week (I think we had 1 afternoon of dryish sunny weather). I off to with Leger again in 4 weeks (Aug 2nd) on there Prague, Vienna, Budapest singles tours, so hope it is as good as the one to Spain last year. I am already planning on travelling with them next year, on one of the Battlefield tours (although I wish they would offer singles holidays on these tours as well) the Anne Frank and Oscar Shindler tour. If any one wants any info on any of the tours I have been on please contact me, my eemailis sue36a@sky.com. Thanks Sue

| I went on Leger Single tour the Italian and French Rivieras 19 July 2008. I was impressed by a few improvements: (1) Door to Door pick up - very helpful, the feeder came to my home door picked up and brought me back to home easily. All in time and nicely smooth. A confortable start and end of the journey. (2) The excellent efforts of the Drivers - The Drivers were intellegent and harf working, Kevin and Lesne, providing drinks on the coach to everyone when you need it, they created Quiz, Bingo to make you feel easy on the long motorway from North France to Italy. On the end of this trip, singing a passinate song from them was very nice and touching. (3) With single travellers its easy to make new friends. I made good friends during the tour and we enjoyed together. The problem: The only problem was the Italian Hotel Delle Mimose m it is a 3 star hotel with swimming pool in the front. But ir has hideen worse than 1 star rooms on the 3rd floor, Room without window, half space occupied by roof slope, No lift, small (5-8sqm2 only), dirty, No tea pot ... And they tried force several members of Leger group to stay 6 nights under such accommendation ! I had to reject and argued for such bad accoimendation, and I must require Leger and EU Hotel authorities inspect such under-standard rooms in a 3 star hotel. Finally by the foorts of the Drivers, they changed to a standard room for me, I like to go with leger tours again. - Sorrento & the Neapolitan Riviera - However I am worried about the Hotel standard , its Hotel Mary again in Italy, can its room be a disaster again? Leger has to select the Hotels more carefully. Dr C Bleasdale
