I have been debating with myself if I should write anything about this holiday and in the end decided that I would, If you are considering this holiday be prepared for a long, long journey to get there. When you do arrive be prepared for early nights as the hotel bar closes at ten, and there was no entertainment anywhere(apart from a couple of blokes at the sister hotel playing guitar). The trip to the town of Krk was a walk round the town anything of any interest was shut. It did not help when one of the coach drivers was telling us of all the nice places we were near but would not be going to. Also on the longest day of travelling we went out of the way for a meal that was very bland but described as lovely. We found out too late that you can get a boat to Venice from where we were, it takes three hours but it would of been nice to go somewhere with something going on. All in all the worst holiday I have ever had, the only good thing were the other people on the coach who were all very nice. Wish we couldhave had a last night drink in the bar on the way home but there wasn't one.

Hi Shelton

I was surprised and disappointed to read your comments regarding your trip to The Island of Krk & the Croatian Riviera as the feedback from your fellow guests has been very positive. I am unsure as to whether you have written to us with specific details regarding your trip to allow us the opportunity to respond and act on your feedback, so if you would like to get in touch then perhaps we can discuss your comments further.

Best regards

Michael

I must agree with a lot of your comments. The hotel was in a fantastic location but there was nothing to do, possibly because it was the end of the season and most places were closed and we had two free days there. The hotel was nice but the food poor. Despite these remarks it was a lovely holiday in a beautiful area and the Croatian people are lovely. I would recommend the holiday to anyone but beware that if you are a single traveller your free day options are very limited.
