| We are booked to go to Rome, Capri and Pompeii in September 2008 and would be grateful if you could let us know how much the optional tours to Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri will be, as I cannot find mention of these prices anywhere. Also it would be helpful to know how much extra (if applicable) tour guides will cost. Thanks.

Hi Ann
I have just got a response from our product team regarding your information request :-
The costs of the excursions are slightly different depending on the type of coach you have chosen to travel on.
If you have booked our Executive tour, then the excursion to Montecassino and Pompeii is an optional extra at a price of €35 per person. This includes a morning visit to Montecassino and the afternoon in Pompeii. Your entrance into Pompeii, as well as a guided sightseeing tour with a local guide, is included in this price.
If you are travelling on the Silver Service tour the excursion to Montecassino and Pompeii is already included within the price of your holiday. However, entrance into Pompeii is at extra cost (approximately €11 per person). We do have an optional Pompeii Sightseeing tour available for €26 per person which includes your entrance and sightseeing tour by a local guide.
Available on both the executive and silver service tours is our Rome Sightseeing tour. This exciting guided tour is operated by a local guide and lasts approximately 3hrs. It costs €36 per person and entrance into the mighty Colosseum is included in the price.
The full day excursion to Sorrento costs €30 per person, however, if you prefer, for €60 per person you can join a boat and travel over the bay of Naples to the beautiful Isle of Capri. Here you will receive a guided tour of the main sights before free time to explore independently. (Please note; the cost of the Capri excursion includes your coach journey to Sorrento.)
Important note: Optional excursions are subject to availability and demand. Prices shown above are correct as of July 2008 but are subject to change. The exact prices will be enclosed in your travel documents.
