| Just come back from this holiday - Hotel Volga exceptional, meals superb, with a huge choice to suite everyone. Swimming pool area also pleasant, not too crowded and always plenty of places to sit or lie, both shady and in full sunlight. We didn't go on all the tours, but those that we did (Barcelona and Montserrat) were a delight. Calella is a good resort if you want a quiet holiday - thankfully it still retains its Spanish character and is not full of tacky nightclubs. Many thanks to our drivers, Kevin and Lesley, for their good humour, patience and excellent driving skills. If you are interested in this holiday, be aware that it takes a whole day to get there from Paris, so you will be on the coach for a long time, albeit with plenty of 'comfort breaks'. Having said that, some of the scenery is spectacular so it is well worth having a camera ready en route.
