I've just returned from a superb tour to Austria. It was a brilliant week. The weather, the scenery, the trains were all great. We had a coach full of friendly people, two excellent drivers who knew their way around, so thanks to all.

However, as usual, on returning to the U.K. we suffer from our road network, after being used to much better roads on the continent. But we get used to that.

Would love to hear if anyone else reads this.

I am in the process of booking this holiday for July 2010 as it is just before my 30th wedding anniversary, and my husband is now finally well enough to travel the distance.

Would love to hear any comments about this holiday from previous guests. Have looked the hotel up on the web and it looks very nice

It takes hundreds of nuts to build a motorbike and one in a car to wreck it

I did this holiday last year and stayed in the Hotel Sonnschein and it was great!

We stayed at the hotel Sonnschein in Neiderau this August when we did the Little Trains of Austria Tour. The hotel was great, very large, ample space in the rooms and nice grounds. There is a beautiful indoor pool and sauna area but the outdoor pool was too cold to use. The mountain opposite was easily accesible via cable car and is amazing on top. There is a restaurant on top. There is nothing much to do in the village so it is best to go on the excursions which were all well organised and good value for money. The ride on the Gisella Bhan was a great experience with the staff in period costume. Apart from the trains there were trips to innsbruck & Kitzbuhel which were great shopping opportunites. I would recommend this tour, we are not train enthusiasts but still enjoyed the holiday.

Happy Travelling!
