I have just booked on to go to the Italian Dolomites Winter Wonderland holiday on 15th March 2009. I am travelling alone and would love to make contact with anyone who is going or considering going on the trip. Look forward to hearing from you. Troi

Hi Troi,

I am also booked on this holiday for the same dates and am also travelling alone.  I'm not sure if we will be on the same coach as i will be starting the journey from a different area but am happy to message you and who knows we may even be able to meet up over there.

Hi Ali

Great to hear from you, I feel so much better that I will not be the only one travelling along. I am starting my journey from Portsmouth although I come from North Devon.....long story but hopefull I will be able to fill you in when we meet at Dover! It will be great.  Which area are you coming from? You can either contact me on here or email me on ldorsett@ndevon.ac.uk and we can chat more. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Ali

Me too! I have been over night before down to Porec and Rome and said I wouldn't do it again, but this trip is not so far so should be ok. Have you travelled over night before. Where are you travelling from on the feeder? We must arrange a meeting point down in Dover to have a coffee, time permitting.

That's great news Troi, yes we definitley must arrange to meet up.  Yes i have travelled overnight before but only to Austria so this will be a longer journey for me, but i'm sure it will be fine.  I always make sure i have a little time off after the holiday to ensure recovery from the back home journey and to ease back slowly!  I will e-mail you later on as this method is ok but a bit slow from my end.  Take care and chat properly soon.

Hi Ali

I too have decided to take an extra day off from work especially as I have to drive from my drop off point at Portsmouth back to North Devon. Looking forward to my holiday but am up to my eyes in Christmas at the moment as I expect you are. Look forward to speaking to you some more.

Hi Troi,

It makes sense doesn't it after such a hectic holiday as these are to have extra time off afterwards to collect ourselves - and catch up on washing, cleaning and answering e-mails etc!   Why is it we lead such hectic lives?  Yes Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yes i'm looking forward to the holiday too - and hoping for some snow!  I will get on the computer at home sometime soon and then i can e-mail you properly.

Hi Ali

Yes I am hoping for snow too.....I am not on the internet at home but the address I gave you before is my work one. It is easier for me to see emails on that address than keep logging onto the leger forum as i am not supposed to use the internet for personal use during work time.....don't tell anyone but we all do it and my boss is out of the office at the moment! Also I am not sure I want everyone reading what I am writing.  Anyway hope to hear from you soon.
